2017 Call to Prayer & Daily Bible Readings

This is the annual schedule of Daily Corporate Prayer & Daily Bible Readings for the Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas. This schedule should be distributed to each National and District Officer, all Local Church Pastors, and posted in each local church. The Prayer schedule should be part of the weekly announcements in each Fire Baptized Holiness Church, while our Leaders and Pastors encourage participation of the same.

The focal theme of our "2017 Call to Prayer", is the nurture of the spiritual relationship of all our members, as well and the Christian Community with Christ. As Christian believers, we must recognize that the ultimate objective of Christianity, is to introduce the oneness of man with God, through Christ Jesus, our Lord. We will come together daily as a corporate body of Christian Believers, beseeching our God for the strengthening of our communal spiritual fellowship.

Through prayer, we will seek to enhance our spiritual bond, both with Christ and each other. This bond initiated and secured by the work of Jesus our Christ, is now sustained by our consistent commune in prayer, worship, and the study of the Holy Scriptures. Thus, the noon-day prayer, along with ecclesiastical exhortations, by the Presiding Bishops of the Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas, on each Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday, we will cultivate the roots of our Christianity through spiritual nurture.

Prayer will begin at noon each day except for the days of scheduled exhortations.
